This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs the collection, use, storage,
processing, disclosure, and protection of information obtained from
Distributors using the Star Distributors App (the
“Application” or “Platform”). This Policy is issued by
KK Enterprises ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our").
This Policy applies
exclusively to Distributors registered on the Star
Distributors App and does not apply to retailers, delivery partners, or
end customers.
By accessing, registering on, or using the Platform, you (“Distributor”,
“You”, or “Your”) expressly consent to the practices described herein.
1. Scope and Applicability
This Policy governs the manner in which the Company collects, uses,
stores, processes, discloses, and protects information provided by or
collected from Distributors through the Star Distributors App, including
all features, tools, dashboards, and services made available to
Distributors.
2. Consent and Distributor Representations
By clicking “I Accept”, registering on, or using the Application, you
acknowledge that:
- You are voluntarily providing information to the Company;

You consent to the collection, use, processing, storage, and
disclosure of such information in accordance with this Policy;

You provide your consent in accordance with the Digital Personal Data
Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), which is free, specific, informed,
unconditional, and unambiguous.
Your Personal Data is processed for clearly defined and lawful purposes,
including onboarding, contractual performance, payment settlements,
compliance with legal obligations, fraud prevention, analytics, and
improvement of the Platform.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by following the procedure
communicated by the Company or by contacting us at the details provided
below. You acknowledge that withdrawal of consent may result in
restricted or discontinued access to the Platform.
You represent and warrant that:

All information provided by you is true, accurate, and complete.

You are duly authorised to share business, financial, and third-party
information (including information relating to employees, customers,
or representatives, where applicable).

The Company is entitled to rely on such representations without
independent verification.
The Company shall not be liable for any unauthorised disclosure of
information caused due to your lack of authority or breach of
representations.
3. Information We Collect from Distributors
The Company may collect the following categories of information from
Distributors:
3.1 Business and Compliance Information
- Business / firm name
- Authorised contact person name
- Email address and phone number
- Registered business address
- GST details and billing information
- Drug licence details, where applicable
3.2 Product and Inventory Information

Product details including SKU, MRP, pricing, batch details, expiry
(where applicable), quantity, and offer structure

Inventory data synced from Distributor ERP systems or manually
uploaded through the Platform
3.3 Financial and Transaction Information
- Bank account details for settlements

Payment transaction details relating to subscription fees, offer
activation fees, or other platform charges
Note : The Company does not store complete card, UPI,
or wallet credentials. All payments are processed through secure
third-party payment gateways.
3.4 Automatically Collected Information
- Device information (device type, operating system, app version)
- Log data (IP address, access timestamps)

Usage data relating to offer creation, order management, inventory
updates, and analytics access
4. Purpose of Data Collection and Use
Distributor information is collected and used to:

Enable Distributors to onboard, manage accounts, and access platform
features
- Allow creation, management, and tracking of offers and schemes
- Display Distributor products and offers to relevant retailers
- Sync, manage, and display inventory availability
- Process orders, settlements, and subscription payments
- Generate dashboards, analytics, and performance reports

Enforce platform rules, limits, auto-deactivation logic, and
compliance requirements
- Detect fraud, misuse, or unauthorised access
- Improve platform security, performance, and user experience
- Comply with applicable tax, legal, and regulatory obligations
5. Inventory and ERP Data Usage

Inventory data synced from Distributor ERP systems is used solely for
displaying live stock availability, enabling automated offer controls,
and reporting.

Where ERP integration is not enabled, Distributors remain solely
responsible for the accuracy of manually entered inventory data.

The Company does not modify Distributor ERP data beyond what is
required for display, order processing, and analytics.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
The Company does not sell Distributor data. Information may be shared
only as follows:
6.1 With Company
- Distributor product details, pricing, and offer information
- Order-related information strictly necessary for fulfillment
6.2 With Service Providers
- Payment gateways

Cloud hosting, analytics, ERP integration, and technical service
providers
Such service providers are bound by contractual confidentiality and data
protection obligations.
6.3 Legal and Regulatory Authorities
Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law,
regulation, court order, or government authority, or to protect the
rights, safety, or property of the Company, Distributors, or the public.
7. Data Retention
Distributor data is retained:
- For as long as the Distributor account remains active

As required under applicable tax, accounting, and regulatory laws

For lawful business purposes, including audits and dispute resolution
Data that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised in accordance
with applicable law.
8. Data Security
The Company implements reasonable technical and organisational
safeguards, including:
- Secure servers and controlled access
- Encrypted data transmission where applicable
- Role-based and need-to-know internal access controls
While reasonable measures are implemented, no system can guarantee
absolute security.
9. Distributor Rights
Subject to applicable law, Distributors may:
- Request access to their personal or business data
- Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information

Request deletion of data, subject to legal and contractual obligations
- Withdraw consent, where applicable

communicated through the Application or by updating this Policy.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised
Policy.
